KGU Christmas Meeting
Thirty-six members of Kent Golf clubs competed in the Union’s Christmas Meeting today. The format was 18 holes of better-Ball golf off the medal tees of the Links course. It was relatively calm first thing, but the wind built during the day such that 16, 17 and 18 were into a stiff breeze by the time players reached them. Thirty-nine points were needed to visit the prize table, but it was a score of 41 that won the day. Jeff Francis and Steve Webster of Mid-Kent took the honours on the day. All of the field enjoyed a feative roast before the prize-giving. Thanks to Littlestone for allowing us to use the course and to all the participants. Full results can be seen by clicking here.
