Sunday 25th August Kent took on Surrey away at Kingswood Golf and Country Club in the blissful August sun.
An important fixture for Kent as it was the last game of the season and also the last game for County Captain Danny Curtis as Captain and in good spirits to the fantastic work Danny had achieved in the past 7 years working with Kent, the team performed accordingly and after being a point down after the morning foursomes (2.5 to 1.5) the team performed superbly in the afternoon singles with a win for Danny Curtis also to bring the final singles score to (5-3) meaning an overall win of 6.5 to Kent and 5.5 to Surrey.
A fitting send-off to Captain Danny Curtis and a great performance to the 1st team to bring the league to a close with a win against Surrey, pictured below being presented with a thank you from Coach Benn Barham on behalf of the Players, Team Professional & President for his superb work as County Captain.
