A huge congratulations to all our Kent Junior County Captains for 2021. We wish you and rest of the Kent Junior Squads the best of luck for the season ahead.
Liv Heard - Kent Junior Girls Captain 2021
'I am immensely proud and honoured to have been asked to fill the role of Junior Captain for 2021. It has been an ambition of mine since I was a young Kent Junior Girl. I am looking forward to captaining the girls, working with them to form a united strong team, growing our relationships and friendships for life. I am looking forward to creating and attending many matches in the county, but also creating events for the team throughout the country. We plan to play other counties further a field, but the most exciting event I look forward to and think that I speak on behalf of everyone - is Junior County Week, every year the team looks forward to this event, three days of huge competitiveness with the girls which includes laughter, happiness, and excitement! My Goal for the 2021 season is to unite Kent and build relationships with other counties as well to make us the finest county team in the country.'
Miles Gray - Kent Boys U18's Captain 2021
'I am very pleased and looking forward to stepping up into the Captaincy for 2021 and hopefully leading a great squad to success. I am most looking forward to the 6 Man Boys event at Kings Hill Golf Club where hopefully we can successfully qualify for the English Boys County Finals. My Goal for the 2021 season alongside a successful year with Kent Golf is to represent my Country.'
Jake Antoun - Kent Boys U16's Captain 2021
'It's an honour to have been chosen as the Kent U16 Team Captain and I'm looking forward to building upon the success we had as an U14 team. I'm excited to see the progress the boys have made in the last year and I can't wait to start competing as part of the team again! One of my goals in 2021 is to play some of the bigger men's amateur events alongside the national junior ones'.
Jack Swift - Kent Boys U14's Captain 2021
'I feel honoured to be asked to be Kent U14's Captain. I had a taster captaining Kent in the Triple Shield last year and I’m looking forward to the opportunity this year. I’m looking forward to being a good role model for the younger and newer members of the squad, making them feel welcome in the same way I was when I was younger. I’m looking forward to getting back to golf full stop. It will be great to get to training days and seeing my friends and learning from Peter Parks. Hopefully we will get to play some matches and will be able to retain our title. I would like to say a big thank you to outgoing U14 manager Kim Brusadelli for her efforts. She brought me into the squad and team and gave me lots of advice and encouragement. She was at every academy and training session, practice rounds and matches as well as other junior events. Myself and the boys will miss her input, Thank you Kim’
