On a cold, but dry day the Junior Girls, 1st, 2nd and Senior Teams (and parents) came together to start off the 2022 season.
Tita McCart, County Captain, welcomed everyone and made introductions.
The Senior Team, ably managed by Angela Jones (England Golf and Kent Senior Team Manager as well as the Women's Mind Coach) were congratulated on winning the Mulligan Larson Bowl (County League) in 2021.
2022 championships and competitions were discussed as well as the new Social Contract replacing the Code of Conduct.
The Junior Girls Captaincy handover took place with Olivia Heard (Chart Hills) stepping down and Ellena Slater (Kings Hill) taking over. Both girls made lovely speeches and do Kent proud.
Everyone had been handed a brochure produced by Angela Jones, who discussed goal setting for the season.
Winners of the Junior Girls Order of Merit 2021 were announced and presented with their prizes. Congratulations to all winners.

Our main speaker was Ainee O’Conner, Assistant Pro at Sundridge Park.
Ainee spoke very engagingly providing us with a real insight into her golfing career from being a junior girl age 10 at Sundridge Park, playing in club teams as well as in all Kent Teams for many years and then after school going to college in the States for 4 years and on her return becoming Assistant Pro at Sundridge Park, which she is thoroughly enjoying.
We like to thank Ainee for her very informative talk and wish her much success in her new career.
After lunch some went to the Driving Range using the Trackman facilities and some played 9 holes on the Academy course. Enjoyed by all.

We like to thank Pedham Place Golf Centre for hosting the event and their continued support.
