A very successful and informative Kent Clubs' Junior Organisers' Workshop took place on the evening of Wednesday 2 March.
21 Junior Organisers attended and we had very interesting presentations from Allison Boozer, our Club Support Officer from England Golf, Mike Hollis, Regional Development Officer from the Golf Foundation, Kim Brusadelli, Kent Golf’s Junior Development Officer who updated us on our Junior Disability Academies and Barry Sears, Junior Organiser at Faversham Golf Club and a member of the Golf Development Committee. They spoke about all their latest initiatives and funding opportunities for clubs and reiterated that they are available for help and support whenever needed.
We also had the latest news on our work in the County with children who have disabilities and a very useful insight into the life of a Junior Organiser with helpful advice and tips. All ending with a healthy discussion.
