Junior Spring Meeting

We held our first major competition of the year, the Junior Spring Meeting, at West Kent Golf Club on Monday, 11th April. This competition has been played by the girls for many years and this is the first time the boys have been invited to play, as we are now a unified body.
We had a good field of players (42) with varying handicaps (from scratch to 33). There was one 18 hole Medal round and a Stableford for the higher handicaps.
The weather was kind and the course was in very good condition which produced some excellent scores with Lily Cook from Boughton GC winning the Girls Scratch Trophy with a level par round and Tom Chapman from Sene Valley GC winning the Boys Scratch Medal with a gross 76.
Teagan Ford from Bearsted GC won the Girls Handicap Trophy with an excellent net 68 and Fraser Jackson from Langley Park GC won the Boys Handicap Medal with a net 71.
Roisin Kelly from Sene Valley won the Junior Girls Stableford Cup with an amazing 48 points.
