Kent's second league match against Sussex was played on Sunday 8 May at East Brighton Golf Club set in the lush Sussex downlands.
The morning foursomes saw the scores at lunchtime 3-1 to Sussex. Spirits were high going into the afternoon singles.
Sussex outplayed Kent with some great golf and with a home advantage playing a big part taking the singles 5 1/2 - 2 1/2 making the final score Kent 3 1/2 Sussex 8 1/2.
