Winter Fourball Final

This year’s Winter Fourball Final saw Millie Thompson and Nikki Brown of Faversham Golf Club play Alison Chapman and Sandy Hallet of Prince’s Golf Club, to battle it out for the title at the beautiful Wildernesse Club.
A mostly cloudy but warm day saw the players introduced onto the 1st tee by Kent Golf’s, Simon Wood and Wildernesse Clubs General Manager, Peter Walter. The referee for the match was Nick Lang.
A close battle ensued on the font 9, with an early lead for Millie and Nikki being reversed by the halfway stage, before some excellent play from Alison and Sandy saw them race a few clear and stay that way until clinching the victory on the 15th green.
Upon receiving the trophy from County President, Chris Lohan, Alison and Sandy thanked Wildernesse and Peter Walter, for hosting and having the course in such wonderful condition.
Congratulations to all four players for reaching the final and playing a match in such good spirit, and especially to our Champions, Alison Chapman and Sandy Hallet!
