Summer Stableford and Foursomes

The Summer Stableford and Foursomes competition was held at Chislehurst Golf Club on Friday 8th July in very hot conditions.
It was a smaller field this year with 22 players from 9 different clubs.
Kent Golf would like to thank Chislehurst for hosting the event and all their help especially from Simon - CEO and Lucy - events manager, Russel - course manager for presenting the course in excellent condition, Alex for the catering and the professional Paul Eastwood and his assistant Connor.
We would also like to thank our sponsors Shepherd Neame who kindly donated some of the prizes.
The prizes were presented by Club Captain Ian Weddell.
Results of the morning Stableford competition are as follows:
1st place - Joe Harris from West Malling with 38 points CB
2nd place - David Easthope from Gillingham on 38 points CB
3rd place - Ingrid Long from Sundridge Park on 37 points
Gross winner - Paul Wilson from West Malling with a gross score of 30 points
Results of the afternoon Foursomes competition are as follows:
Starters Trophy was won by Martin Kennedy (London) and Paul McBride (Hever) with a nett 62
Runners up were Ingrid and Peter Long (Sundridge) with a nett 65
3rd Place on C/B from Will and Andrew (Langley) were Steve Butler and Norman Kane (West Malling) with a nett 66
5th NP Lewis Evans & Joe Harris (West Malling)
7th NP Paul Wilson & Steve Deacon (West Malling)
12th NP Martin Kennedy (London) & Paul McBride (Hever)
18th NP in two Paul Wilson and Steve Deacon (West Malling)
Finally the biggest thank you goes to those who signed up and played in this competition and made it a fun day for everyone.
