Invicta 10s - Day 4

Date published: 5 Aug 2022

Yesterday was the last of the four events in the Invicta 10s Tour and we were at Etchinghill.

The day was split into 2 for the young players with half of it spent on skills challenges and the other half on the 9 hole par 3 course. We were blessed with great weather (a sharp contrast to last year) and we were witness to some splendid golf from the youngsters who were aged between 7 and 10. Thanks to Etchinghill for looking after us so well once again.

We had 5 birdies - Charlie Gordelier had 2 on 3rd and 5th, Harrison D’Arcy on 7th, Oliver Dean-Bowers on 9th and Caleb Twyman on 7th.

Prize winners were:

Academy Course Winner - Caleb Twyman with 31 shots

Academy Course Runner-up - Zach Ward with 35 shots

Academy Course 3rd place (on countback) - Oliver Deane-Bowers with 36 shots

Winner of the overall Skills Challenge - Dexter Stavri

Runner-up in the overall Skills Challenges - Oliver Deane-Bowers

Winner of the Putting Skills Challenge - Raymond Tolfrey

Winner of the Bunker Skills Challenge - Charlie Gordelier

Joint winners of the Driving Skills Challenge - Tilley Greatley and Noah Norman

The Final will be held on Sunday 4 September at North Foreland.
