Race to St. George's - North Kent Qualifier

Date published: 17 Aug 2022

A very hot day welcomed us at The Darenth on Tuesday 9 August for the penultimate Race to St George’s event of 2022.

The best gross score was achieved by Abe Bignell from Kings Hill with a score of gross 73 and Archie Jones from Rochester & Cobham achieved the best nett score of 70.

The heat did get very intense for the young players but they held their nerve and persevered with the temperature rising throughout the day.

A big thank you to The Darenth who really looked after the players and volunteers.

The prizes were presented as follows given that only one prize per person is allocated.

Gross results
Abe Bignell – Kings Hill – 73
Kieran Parkins – Sundridge Park – 75
Josh Dugard – Chelsfield Lakes – 76 decided on count back

Nett results
Archie Jones – Rochester and Cobham – 70
Justin Chenu – Chelsfield Lakes – 70
Haiden Matos – Dartford – 71 decided on count back
