Final Day of the Invicta 10s Molyneux Tour

It was a beautiful morning on the Kent coast for the final of our Invicta 10s Molyneux Tour hosted by North Foreland GC. Twenty-one players assembled for the skills tests and 9 holes on the Northcliffe course.
Caleb Twyman continued his good form by winning both the skills and the 9 holes on the day, and he also defended the Molyneux Trophy to become our 2022 Champion. Well done, Caleb, and we look forward to watching your progress next season!
Noah Norman, who had been running a close second all year, came out top in the putting skills and second on the course. This all helped to give him the runners-up prize for the year overall. Well played, Noah!
Third place on the Tour this year went to Zachary Ward, a previous winner at Boughton earlier in the season. Well done, Zachary!
Ellie Taylor took the honours in the girls’ section with a very consistent run of scores throughout all events. Nicely done, Ellie!
Special mentions also to Hayden Hoyle for coming third on the course on the day, Samuel Taylor for finishing second in the skills tests, and Sam Cardosi for winning the chipping challenge and Freddie Luckett for coming top in the driving.
We also had two nearest the pin awards – Freddie for the boys and Ellie for the girls.
And a final well done for the four who managed to get a birdie two on the course – Emilio Lockhart, Harry Walters, Noah Norman and Caleb Twyman.
Don’t forget, next year, as well as the Invicta 10s we will also be running an Invicta 12s Tour, as well as lots of other Junior events for when your handicaps start tumbling down.
It has been a pleasure to watch the children developing their golfing skills, especially with so many smiles and so much enthusiasm. Keep it up and we hope to see you all again next year!
