Thank you message to retiring Directors

We would like to express sincere gratitude for the many years of loyal service to county golf to those Directors who retired at the Kent Golf AGM held on Wednesday 7 September 2022 at Mid Kent Golf Club - Peter Long (Sundridge Park), Mark Ward (Rochester & Cobham) and Chris Lohan. Whilst Peter, Mark and Chris retire as Directors, they will remain very much involved in county golf given their roles as Committee Members, Rules Officials, Course Raters and Mark and Chris attending events in their capacity as Vice Presidents of Kent.
We would also like to thank Tita McCart (Sundridge Park), who remains as a County Captain but stepped down as Director of Communications. Thank you and well done for all you have done within your role as the Director of the Communications Committee Tita, you have introduced some great structured processes which helped in streamlining our work and have put a lot of hard work and dedication into the website and other 'communication' areas, which we will all benefit from for a long time to come.
Alan Austin is the newly appointed Chair of Kent Golf as well as continuing in his role as Director of Championships.
