Men's Senior Team win the League

The Senior’s 2022 year success continued as Kent convincingly beat Hampshire away at Rowlands Castle to win the league.
To say the weather was a tad wet is an understatement, the calculators were looking like coming out with the England Golf rule book if we had to abandon halfway through, but luckily, we managed to get round with only a few showers.
We had good Kent wins from Richard Tomlin who won easily 7/6, and Danny Holmes, Bob Florence, Phil Judge, Richard Partridge, Andy Francis, and Alan Austin, with a fighting half from Peter Newman, having a great up and down on the last. Two games going to Hampshire, but it was Kent’s day, the final result was a good 7½ - 2½ win for the away team.
Next game will be at the National 6-man Finals at Rothley Park Leicestershire October 4-6.
Then the final match England region North v South group final at West Essex on 12 October.
