On a determinedly grim morning at Littlestone Warren, thirteen brave souls teed it up in this year's Rooke Salver.
Conditions were vastly different to those of only a week or so ago; no run on the ball to help us now! But the course withstood what the weather threw at us and so did our doughty competitors.
Taking the honours with 40 points was Lyn Baimbridge from Sundridge Park, an excellent performance on such a trying day. Runner-up was Sue Canney (Ashford) with 39 points.
Despite the conditions (did I mention it was difficult?) most ladies enjoyed the day and credit to them all for sticking it out.
