Kent Junior Championship

This was the final qualifying event for the Race to St Georges which took place at Rochester & Cobham Golf Club on Thursday, 25th August
After weeks of fine weather, the heavens opened during the night before and the morning of the Junior Championship but miraculously (and thanks to the Green Staff at Rochester & Cobham) the course was able to open and the full 36 holes were played.
The boys Gross Winner was Max Murray, Sundridge Park
The girls Gross Winner was Sasha Hellen, Dartford
Max and Sasha were both then put forward to represent Kent in the County Champion of Champions events at Woodhall Spa - the girls event on the 3rd September and the boys on 10th September.
Sasha put on a fine performance on the Bracken course at Woodhall Spa which was playing tough and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
