Fifteen pairs of juniors teed it up at Canterbury for the 2022 Joan Piper Mixed Greensomes (Stableford). There was some very good scoring (once the cards had been deciphered!) and the worthy winners with a very impressive 40 points were Mia Bolton (The London) and Martin Taylor (Redlibbets). They won by four points from Jake Connolly (Faversham) and his partner, Kieki Chapman (Rochester and Cobham Park). Third place was taken by home pair, Amos Brazier and Claudia Carlotti, with 35 points, on a back-six countback from Sasha Hellen (Dartford) and Ethan Hall (Knole Park).
An enjoyable day for players and parents alike who all enjoyed Canterbury's hospitality. Many congratulations to Martin and Mia for taking home the trophy!
