Charlie Wilson (Littlestone) wins the Hinge Trophy at Royal St. George's
The sun shone but the bitterly cold wind made it extremely difficulf for the players in the final round of this year's Hinge Trophy. Charlie Wilson Wilson (Littlestone) shot a marvellous 73 to win the Hinge Trophy for the second time by two shots from James Smith (Sundridge Park).
Best scoring of the day in addition to Charlie's 73 was Lewis Kerr (Littlestone), Tom Bayliss (Dartford) on 74, closely followed by James Smith (Sundridge Park) 75 and Alan Austin (Lamberhurst) 76.
Alan won the nett overall for both rounds with a very creditable 145.
Our thanks again to Royal St. George's Golf Club for allowing us to use their superb facilities and the players all commented on how good the course was presented.
