Tita McCart, our County Captain, was invited to provide an update on Kent Golf at the AGM of the Society of Lady Captains of Kent Golf Clubs (SLCKGC) on Monday 6 March 2023 at the Weald of Kent Golf Course & Hotel.
Tita reported how proud Kent Golf are being County of the Year and of the many excellent performances by Kent teams in 2022. Other topics covered were our variety of golf academies, monthly eNewsletters, competitions (and posters), Women in Golf (WIG) Charter, Club Delegates and County Card.
This year the after lunch speaker was Jane Beedle. Jane is a member at Faversham and was the runner up in the 2016 series of Great British Bake Off. Her talk was very entertaining and enjoyed by all.
As always the meeting was well attended by 130 past and current Lady Captains.
