The Safe Golf Register – Safe Golf Accredited Coaches

To appear on the Safe Golf Register as a Safe Golf Accredited PGA Professional, the PGA Professional must provide proof to the PGA of a valid DBS disclosure together with a certificate of attendance at a Safeguarding & Protecting Children Course. Both of these are valid for three years and having completed an initial ‘face to face’ Safeguarding Course, a PGA Professional is entitled to renew their Safeguarding certification via an on-line refresher. The PGA send reminders to Professionals when their certificates are due for renewal.

One can find a list of Safe Golf Accredited PGA Professionals by following this link  and it should be noted that the list is updated at the start of each month. The PGA can only update this list if the required information as detailed above is provided to them by the Professional.
