On a pleasantly warm day with some cloud cover and a gentle breeze coming in in the afternoon, the Kent 2nd team took on Middlesex at Sene Valley.
The morning 4somes were closely fought and honours were even at lunch, 1½ - 1½ .
The afternoon singles were just as close with 4 of the 6 matches going to 17 or 18. Ali dug very deep for a fantastic half after being dormy 4 down.
Our 3 rookies played very well with Emma getting a great half by winning the 18th.
Well played by the whole team. Many thanks to Sene Valley for looking after us so well and to Middlesex for being a competitive but friendly opposition.
