Kent senior women’s second league match of the season was held at Canterbury GC on Tuesday 21st June on a beautiful summer’s day with a gentle breeze.

Although there was little challenge from the weather conditions the course was playing fast and bouncy, which presented some tricky course management questions to answer.

The matches were all very closely contested, with 3 of them going to the 18th, we were therefore very pleased to come out on top by 4.5 matches to 1.5.

We’ve now played our two home matches in the league and have won both, however the bigger hurdle of winning our two away matches will determine whether we can keep the league trophy for another season.
