Golf Development Committee

This Committee’s main purpose is to lead the efforts of Kent Golf to grow the game in the County by identifying and prioritising initiatives relevant to increasing golf participation generally in Kent.

One of our functions is to oversee the growth of the Kent Golf Approved Junior Academies network to provide good coverage of the County and to provide support for the Professional Coaches.

Kent Golf embraces its role of promoting the game of golf to provide equal opportunities for boys and girls and aims to display a welcoming and inclusive positive public image at all our events.

We are also committed to offering opportunities for young people with disabilities to experience golf through our specialised Academies.

We have recently become signatories to the Women and Golf Charter, promoting and encouraging women and girls in the County to get into golf and will support all our affiliated Clubs in their endeavours.
