Meet our Junior Team Captains

Under 14s - Scott Antoun
Scott is a member of Kings Hill Golf Club and has a handicap index of 3. Scott successfully represented Kent in 2021 in the U14 team and is delighted to be their captain for 2022. Scott has played numerous junior competitions at both county and national level, and most recently won the Statham Trophy at Royal St Georges.
Under 16s Captain - Abe Bignell
Abe is a member of Kings Hill and Rochester and Cobham golf clubs.
He has been playing for Kent since he was 12 and was part of the winning squad that won the under 14’s county finals in 2019 and the under 16’s squad that won the county finals in 2021.
He represents the Kings Hill men's scratch team and hopes to work with his team mates this season to help bring back the under 16’s county trophy this year for Kent.
Favourite golf destination is Sweden, favourite course in England, Saunton Links.
Favourite player ‘Has to be Tiger Woods’.
Favourite club in his bag: 4 iron.

Under 18s Captain - Charlie Reynolds
I play at The London Club and my favourite course that I’ve played is the Old Course at St Andrew’s where I am hoping to go to university. I am a member of the SE England Golf regional squad and hope to become a professional golfer. My favourite player is Rory McIlroy.
I am looking forward to being the Kent U18 captain this year. The squad is the strongest one I have been a part of since I first played for the county aged 12. The goal is to win the 6 man this year and progress to the county finals and I know we are capable of doing so.
Girls Captain - Ellena Slater
This year’s Junior Girls Captain is Ellena Slater, a member of Kings Hill Golf Club. Ellena has a handicap of Plus 3 and plays for the Kent Women’s 1st Team as well as the Junior Girls 1st Team.
Ellena had a great year in 2021 winning the Frilford Heath Scratch Salver. She also won the Girls Scratch Prize at the Junior Championship and the Race to St. George's Final, both for the 3rd year running.
Ellena has won a scholarship to Northern Arizona University for 4 years starting in August.
