Purpose and aim |
The Under 13/14’s is the first step into representing the county. Through trials at Hever, the best talent is chosen to attend winter training sessions with the intent of finding the strongest team. Handicaps tend to be under 16 at the start of the season with most of the team single figures by the end of the season. The boys get their first taste of county competition which hopefully gives them the drive for the future. |

Training and coaching |
Once selected for the squad, there are 3 to 4 winter training sessions around the county taking in parkland and links venues to give players the ability to create and practice different shots in varying conditions. Various specialists join the sessions to give advice on different skills and mindsets. Peter gives advice and match tips that build the boys future in the game. |
