| Purpose & Aim | The aim of the 2nd team is to aid the progression from club golf to County golf (and hopefully onto the 1st team) by providing competitive matchplay experience against the other counties in our region for those players who have attained single figure handicaps. | |||||||

| Team Coaching | Team Coaching is available either as a part of the Junior programme or alongside the Senior women. | |||||||
| Qualification for the team | Whilst we are willing to consider any single figure handicap player, we aim to use juniors and under 50's as much as possible as we have a strong senior squad that has its own fixtures. | |||||||
| Matches |
We play in a league for the Stovold Trophy with 2 home and 2 away matches each year. The format of the day is 36 holes of matchplay golf - 3 x Foursomes in the morning followed by 6 x Singles in the afternoon. History, rules, and past results of the Stovold Trophy can be found on the Surrey Ladies Golf website. Last year Kent was responsible for collating all the results for the 2nd team matches - follow this link for the 2023 results. |
