U18 Boys Team Captain - Lucas Dennison

Lucas currently plays at Rochester and Cobham Park GC. He is in the England Golf South East Regional Squad and has represented England Schools in 2022.

"I am very excited to be Kent U18 Boys Captain for 2023 as I believe that we have one of the strongest squads ever. The same squad we have now have won the U14 SE Counties League, the U16 SE Counties League and last year, we won both the South East Region 6 Man Qualifier and U18 SE Counties League. I am very confident we can continue this for 2023 too."

Junior Girls Team Captain - Sasha Hellen

"I’m Sasha and I am 17 years old. I started playing golf when I was 2 and I had group and private lessons until I was 15 when sadly my coach, James Marshall, passed away. Ever since, I’ve been working on my game by myself whilst also receiving some excellent Kent coaching as part of the Junior Girls Squad. I have represented Kent and played in Kent competitions for quite a while now and I’ve loved every second of it.

I am currently attending the Golf College at Pedham Place Golf Centre and I am loving it.

I am so grateful that I have this opportunity and I hope this year will be a good year and that I can lead Kent to victory again."

Sasha is a member at Dartford GC.
