Kent Golf Limited in its current form was created on 4 November 2020 when its two component parts, Kent County Ladies’ Golf Association and Kent Golf Union Limited each voted to unify. This step created a single body to promote and provide a single voice for amateur golf in Kent and to support the 83 clubs that are affiliated to the County. The constitution of Kent Golf Limited ensures that there is a both male and female representation on the Board and on each committee of the Board.
The two component parts of Kent Golf each have a much longer history and 2025 will see the centenary of what was the men’s Union and 125 years of the women’s Association.
