Race to St. George's

A competition for players under the age of 18 on 1 January 2024, with a handicap index of no higher than 24.4.

The Race to St. George's is played over 4 qualifying events held in the North, South, East and West of the County, plus the Kent Golf Junior Championships. Points are awarded to the top 20 scratch finishers in each event and recorded in an Order of Merit. After the final qualifying event, the top 20 in the scratch Order of Merit will qualify for the Grand Final.

29 July - Junior Championship at Hever Castle ( Scratch or Handicap)
5 August - Weald of Kent (South)
20 August - Mid Kent (North)
31 October - Royal St. George’s (Final)

THE FINAL

The Final will comprise of top 20 players in the scratch Order of Merit.

The players' qualifying points total will be carried forward to the Final round to be held at the Royal St George’s GC.

Vouchers will be awarded at the Final for first, second, and third places.

Order of play will be drawn.
