GARETH BAILEY, PGA PROFESSIONAL
The Kent Golf Academy at Canterbury Golf Club is for children who would like to start playing competitive golf with the desire to achieve a handicap if they haven’t already.
There will be two academies, scheduled for the beginning of most months, exact dates will be provided. The first will be held on Sundays at 11am for children 10 and under. These juniors must have golfing experience already and be able hit consistent shots through all aspects of the game. They must also be able to commit to representing Canterbury Golf Club in the Golf Sixes and Kent Golf competitions such as The Invicta 10s and The Futures. The second Kent Golf Academy will be held on Tuesday evenings at 5:30pm. These lessons are for children 14 and under who have a handicap or can play golf at a handicap level. This is designed for junior’s who enjoy competitive golf and have the desire to play in more Kent competitions.
Gareth has designed these lessons to focus on the key aspects of the game and to fine tune his pupils awareness and delivery of their shot making. All sessions are competitive and fun, to enhance the enjoyment as well as progression and hopefully encourage new friendships along the way.
