The Academy sessions have been extremely beneficial for all the juniors involved since the beginning and we have been so pleased to see everyone back playing golf and showing fantastic commitment in these uncertain times. 

All of the juniors involved have been practicing different golfing skills through challenge-based activities for the last few months with the Kent Golf Approved Junior Academy here at Tonbridge Golf Centre. KENT GOLF JUNIOR ACADEMY AT TONBRIDGE

This Academy is for boys and girls who are already playing golf to a level of being happy to write down their score if not already having gained a handicap.

Monthly sessions are held on a Saturday at the Mark Janes Golf Academy based at Tonbridge Golf Centre depending which timing suits you and encompass many elements to help improve technique and scoring capabilities.

Zachery has the use of trackman to help identify and improve specific areas to each junior. The goal of the monthly sessions is to home in on some golfing fundamentals, giving each junior the knowledge to understand their own unique swing and in how to hit a ball but also how to play golf. In the spring and summer season these sessions will be a lot more course based to aid playing and performance.

These sessions are aimed at young keen golfers who will look to compete in the Kent Invicta 10’s, Kent Futures and the Race to St George’s with the aim of moving into the Boys U14 squad, Girls Squads or other appropriate County Squads.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

• You must be aged between 6 -15 years old
• Have the desire to practice and play between sessions
• Be driven to improve your golfing game to take it to the next level
• Currently take your scores around a golf course or have a World Handicap Index
• Looking to become a member of a golf club after the first year of coaching if not already be a member
• Have contacted Zachery ( zachery@markjanes.com) or been contacted by Zachery regarding a spot in his academy sessions
• An online Annual Junior Player Profile & Parental Consent Form must be submitted prior to attendance
• Entry fee payment of £88 must be received by Kent Golf prior to the first session

Ministars 

The Focus of these lessons is to improve skill and technique through our unique high tempo games. Our high tempo sessions are the perfect way to improve without bordem setting in over the winter.

Superstars 

Provides juniors with the technical skills needed for golf. It will also promote physical literacy for players, focusing on FUNdamental movement and sports skills in the ideal junior learning environment.

Junior Holiday Camps

Monday - Friday every school holidays 
Camps run from 9am - 12noon or 1pm - 4pm
Only £35 per child for a 3 hour golf camp

Individual Coaching
