The aims of our coaching are to help you to improve your game and to strengthen our squads of elite players for inter-county league and friendly matches. We have two squads, a team squad for those playing in and on the edge of the league team, and a challenger squad for those who are knocking on the door of the team squad. The challenger squad also includes 2nd team players. Coaching input focuses on the short game as we think this is where we can create the biggest difference for the senior golfer.

The league team plays for the Mulligan Larsen Bowl against Essex, Hampshire, Middlesex, Surrey, and Sussex. The format is a team of 6 playing scratch singles matchplay. Selection is performance based. Results are co-ordinated by counties in turn and in 2024 it is Middlesex.  Click here for the Mulligan Larsen Trophy 2023 results.

The friendly team plays against other counties and Kent teams and is open to single figure handicap players who are keen to improve their game and gain experience at county level. The format is usually 4BBB scratch matchplay and we often pair a lower handicapper with a slightly higher handicapper to broaden experience.

We also play in the Inter Counties Seniors Championship (Ten Counties) .
It is a one-day event with a team of 4 playing strokeplay off scratch with the best 3 scores counting. The 10 competing counties are Berks, Bucks, Essex, Hants, Herts, Kent, Middx, Oxon, Surrey and Sussex.
